CLEVERSCAN / KNOWLEDGE & PRACTICE
CleverScan applications
When mobility and geometry are required together
MOBILITY
CleverScan applications
Approx. 21 kg system weight. No dedicated inspection vehicle. Laser-based measurement even where drivable access ends.
PARTICULARLY SUITABLE
When geometry is part of the task.
- optical condition documentation plus surveying
- capture of manhole wall and invert
- dense point cloud as a planning basis
- hard-to-reach or non-drivable structures
- as-built documentation, maintenance and rehabilitation planning
- spatial referencing with supplementary surveying equipment
CLEARLY DELIMITED
When a quick visual overview is sufficient.
- Pure visual inspection without a need for geometric data may be more economical with simpler methods.
- For large numbers of directly accessible manholes, fixed vehicle-based systems can achieve higher daily throughput.
- Set-up, alignment and relocation are deliberately part of CleverScan’s mobile operating concept.
DATA
Technical basis
| Maximum working depth | 30 m | 30 m special cable / integrated cable reel |
|---|---|---|
| battery operation | bis 9 h | largely autonomous full-day operation |
| System weight | approx. 21 kg | portable for manual transport |
| System dimensions | approx. 600 × 600 × 1,100 mm | portable set-up system |
Note: operating conditions, surfaces, shading and positioning influence the quality of laser data capture. Performance data must therefore always be assessed in the context of the specific measurement task.
